On May 17, PLG Estates company CEO, Peter Lorimer, announced we would not be renewing the lease at our Beverly Hills location office space but instead would be moving our headquarters to WeWork in the trendy Pacific Design Center.  All agents at our brokerage will now conveniently have access to all 16 WeWork offices in Los Angeles.

PLG Estates will be keeping two of its existing (brick-and-mortar) offices in Eastside and Studio City and another WeWork space in Playa Vista is already up and running with a team of agents and other support staff based there.

The company headquarters has now been transplanted to the WeWork space in West Hollywood’s much talked about Pacific Design Center.

This PLG Estates HQ in the PDC will house the company COO, Cindy Lorimer, the creative director, the escrow office and several other key members of PLG.

The WeWork arrangement allows PLG to change the way our brokerage approaches expansion.  We are becoming a hybrid of “click-and-mortar.”  Instead of bringing the agent to fill the brokerage, the brokerage will come to the agent wherever they may be in the city.

Not every Realtor might feel comfortable in the arty, techy WeWork spaces, but for our type of agents at PLG, who currently number 200, many of them in former lives were directors, film producers, musicians and actors, WeWork is a good choice.

We are excited about our new home and our future!  Stay tuned, as this story continues to grow and blossom...
